New Students to EIPS

If you are a new student to Elk Island Public Schools, please register using the New Student Registration form on the www.eips.ca website. If you require more information, please click here How to Register a New Student.

Once registration has been confirmed, you will be contacted by the school registrar or grade level administrator to gather course requests.

Re-Admission Request form for Returning Grade 12 Students

If you are interested in coming back to school as a returning grade 12 please fill out the form below.

Information for R12 students:

- Enrollment is subject to course availability
- Requests for semester TWO only will not be accepted until September 1
- Independent students will be required to provide a doctor’s note explaining absences
- Students who did not attend VCHS or Vegreville Outreach in the previous school year may need to complete a New Student Registration.

In accordance with the Alberta School Act, section 12:
A student shall conduct himself or herself so as to reasonably comply with the following code of conduct:
(a) be diligent in pursuing the student’s studies;
(b) attend school regularly and punctually;
(c) co-operate fully with everyone authorized by the board to provide education programs and other services;
(d) comply with the rules of the school;
(e) account to the student’s teachers for the student’s conduct;
(f) respect the rights of others;
(g) ensure that the student’s conduct contributes to a welcoming, caring, respectful and safe learning environment that respects diversity and fosters a sense of belonging;
(h) refrain from, report and not tolerate bullying or bullying behaviour directed toward others in the school, whether or not it occurs within the school building, during the school day or by electronic means;
(i) positively contribute to the student’s school and community
